Amsterdam New West has a growing group of older residents. Among those residents of the first hour are many first generation immigrants, all pioneers. Both groups carry many memories with them to the green and the nature around them. Now a lot will change in the physical environment in the neighborhood, it is important that those memories do not get lost. The stories of elderly people about their experiences in nature and their ideals of yesteryear can be valuable for the revaluation of the greenery in and around the district. The plan is to protect the personal stories on billboards and posters to give them back to the landscape. Without nostalgia to expire, the pioneers will be given a voice, so people are aware what is played. From the stories is also possible to deduce which functions of the public green at the current innovations of the neighborhood can not be lost. The opposite of homesickness Fernweh.
